Our Board

Our Board is responsible for setting our strategic direction, has overall responsibility for our financial strength and our service performance, whilst ensuring that we achieve high standards and value for money.

Our Board Members are people from all walks of life who are interested in social housing and share our values: Care, Respect, Listen and Do the Right Thing. There is a strong focus on EDI with a clear ambition, passion and desire to change lives for the better and create equitable outcomes.   

PCH Board has a maximum of 12 members (all non-executives): 

  • 2 residents 
  • 2 Plymouth City Council nominees
  • 8 independents  

PCH Board meets 6 times a year, plus 2 strategic away day events and up to 6 online briefing sessions. The Board is supported by Committees (4) and subsidiary Boards (2) who meet between 2 and 4 times a year.    

PCH Main Board meetings are hybrid and there is an expectation to attend 4 out of 6 in person in Plymouth.  Board Members are also expected to attend the AGM and two Board away days in person.
