Description

Plymouth Community Homes is a high-performing housing business and Plymouth's most prominent social housing landlord, with over 16,000 properties providing homes for more than 35,000 people. In addition to offering affordable and social rent properties in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, we sell shared ownership homes through our brand SO Living, selling more than 300 properties to date.

We want to provide a quality, affordable home for everyone who needs one while continuing to deliver truly excellent services for our residents. Our values are really important to us because they help to guide how we get the results we want. We care, respect, listen and do the right thing.  We welcome new ideas that give us a wider perspective, and our Board reflects this, with a variety of backgrounds and experiences present.

We're seeking two new Board Members, one with a track record of leadership across housing asset management and/or complex urban regeneration and place-making, and the other a strategic HR and organisational development expert who will also chair our People & Culture Committee, which will attract an increase in remuneration.

Whether you already have non executive experience or not, this could be an excellent career-enhancing opportunity. You'll be able to scrutinise, challenge and strategically advise.  As well as professional knowledge and expertise, you will have a desire to make a difference to people's lives.
