Description

We’re a leading social housing association focused on delivering great services and improving lives in the communities we work within.

Plymouth Community Homes is a high performing housing business and Plymouth’s largest social housing landlord, with over 16,000 properties providing homes for more than 35,000 people.

We want to provide a quality, affordable home for everyone who needs one while continuing to deliver truly excellent services for our residents. Our values are really important to us because they help guide how we achieve the results we want. We care, respect, listen, and do the right thing.

As we look to the future, we want to drive a performance culture where our colleagues feel energised, engaged, and able to fulfil their potential while helping the organisation deliver its strategic objectives and ultimately do more for its residents.

To help us get there, we seek to appoint an inspirational Head of People & Culture to lead a forward-thinking and colleague-centric experience across our organisation.  Reporting directly to our Executive Director of Corporate Services, you'll lead HR, OD, EDI and Culture, and play an organisation-wide role as a critical member of our senior leadership team.  You'll regularly interact with several internal and external stakeholders including our board, and you’ll lead the development and delivery of our People and Workforce Strategies.

As an experienced People and OD leader in a multi-faceted organisation, able to contribute strategically, you will come full of ideas.  Much more important than your sector knowledge will be your values and your approach.  You’ll be driven to push the boundaries of traditional HR methodologies with a strong understanding of developing cultures.

We are a committed Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident employer and welcome applications from suitably talented people from any community and background. Please let us know if you need any assistance or flexibility in your interview or the role when you apply.
